I am working on my dissertation and I would like to know if there is a possibility of finishing it this year (2017) or the spring quarter of next year （spring 2018）， as I want to start work with my advisor right after completing my dissertations so that he can guide me further. Will they extend my admission for another semester？ Or will i just have to come back again next summer/fall session？ If anyone has any thoughts about these questions feel free to reply me！
